Things to Sort Out

⚠ Action Required Confirm dates and book guided trek package early — Rinjani is heavily subscribed, especially July–September peak season.
ℹ Info Indonesians are exempt from Indonesian visa requirements. Singapore citizens get 30-day visa on arrival (VOA) — double check current policy before travel.
⚠ Health Summit night is extremely cold (can drop to 0–3°C). Invest in a quality sleeping bag and thermal layers. Don't underestimate the altitude — Rinjani summit is higher than any peak in Malaysia or Singapore's surrounding region.
ℹ Halal Food Lombok is the "Island of a Thousand Mosques" — halal food is abundant and the default. Trek meals provided by guides are typically halal.
